The PM Kindergarten students will be participating in the Christmas Concert on Wednesday Dec 18th at 1:30 & 6:30 PM.  Doors will OPEN at 6:00 PM...please be at school no later than 6:15!  

When you arrive at school in the evening, your child will walk themselves to the classroom and you go find a seat in the Gym and enjoy the performance.  After the concert, you will be able to pick your child up in the classroom!
Students will be singing 2 songs; The Teddy Bear Twist and Play the Bells to Celebrate!

Students are encouraged to wear clean pajamas to school on the afternoon of December 18th for our Dress Rehearsal performance and then return in the evening in the same pajamas.

This is a BIG one!

We had a very SICK week!  Each day we had 6-7 kids away...hopefully a restful weekend will help everyone feel better!

Students need to bring and then leave a medium sized stuffy to school on Monday!

This week we did a guided drawing of Rudolph!  We love learning from Art Hub! 

And our Grade 3 Buddies came to read Christmas stories to us!

Caroling and Christmas Concert

Today we joined the Grade 1-3 students in our school wide caroling in the Gym.

We will sing again on Thursday afternoon!  Students are welcome to wear a festive hat if they'd like!

Feeling Yucky?

We have had many friends in Kindergarten who are not feeling well these past few days!  

Please make sure that if your child is feeling sick (fever or sore tummy) or has vomited in the past 24hrs, you consider keeping them at home!  Thanks for your help in keeping us all healthy!

Mayor's Food Bank & North Pole Ninjas

WOW!  Our class has collected 48 items for the Food Bank!  

Thank You for your donations.  If you have not yet donated and you are able to, please send in your food items and your child will take them to the donation boxes!

We are turning into North Pole Ninjas!  We are doing Random Acts of Kindness around the school!

Today we organized the boots in the hallways...we were so quiet that nobody knew it was US!

Message from the Office

Coventry Hills School Presents It Takes A Village! 

Please join us for our annual Winter/Christmas concert that will take place on December 18 & 19. There will be daytime and evening performances on both days.

December 18, classes performing: Ms. Izyk, Mrs. Fredette, Ms. Hager, Ms. McLaughlin, Mrs. Prawdzik, Mrs. Heer, Mrs. Roberge, Mrs. Kokesch, Mrs. Atack, Mrs. Verstraete and all PM kindergarten classes

• 1:30pm-2:30pm
• 6:30pm-7:30pm​ 

You will not need tickets to attend.  We are strongly encouraging extended family members with daytime availability to come to the morning or afternoon performances (grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, etc.) as the evening performances are very busy and seating availability is very limited. 

Dress for the Weather!

The weather is sooooo COLD!  Please make sure your child is prepared for the weather every day!  In case of an emergency and we need to evacuate the school, students need to have boots, snow pants, mitts, a hat and a warm jacket!

 Tomorrow is LIBRARY Day!  Don't forget your BLUE bag!

The Greedy Tridangle

Today we watched some of The Greedy Triangle!  

We are learning about the characteristics of 2D shapes!  

We are learning that the shapes have different sides and corners

The Color Monster and Fire Alarm

We had an unplanned fire alarm today!  

Students went outside quickly and quietly and we even saw the Fire Department come!

Hello Families,

Please remember there is NO school Wednesday, Thursday and Friday!

Thank you for taking the time to sign up for Parent Teacher Conferences. 

 

On Wednesday, our grades 1-3 students are in school, so please come to the main office before you come to our classroom (Room 13) for your interview.  If I am with another family, please wait in the hall outside of our classroom.  

If your interview time is on Thursday, please come through the main doors and come to the classroom and wait for your assigned interview time.

Students are welcome to join the interview process.

Parent Teacher Conferences and PM Kinder Tomomorrow

Tomorrow is PM Kinder!  

We will be going outside to play with our buddies...so please send a jacket and boots!

No School for Kindergarten next Wednesday and Thursday because of Parent Teacher Conferences!

On Wednesday, November 20th and Thursday, November 21st we will be having our first set of Parent Teacher Conferences.  You will be able to book a 15 minute time slot with me to discuss the Early Years Evaluation as well as how your child is doing!

Starting on Friday at 6:00PM, you can sign up for a time that is best for your family.
